Yoshihide Motoi – President

Yoshihide has been living in the U.S. since 1995, the year he left NTT (Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp) and decided to move overseas. Using his expertise in the field of IT, he founded Cathand, Inc.

After 10 years, when years of strenuous work were beginning to affect his health, he met Dr. Hata, an expert in the field of naturopathic and preventive medicine. While Yoshihide served as the U.S. representative for Dr. Hata’s medical association, he began thinking seriously about public service and later founded New Medical Foundation. Today, Yoshihide maintains excellent health by applying preventive medicine in his daily life and often surprises others because he appears 10 years younger than his actual age.

Although basics such as adequate sleep and exercise are relatively simple, Yoshihide comments that a healthy diet can be difficult to follow when living and working in the U.S. He eats yogurt every morning and believes that a healthy amount of lactobacteria improves your health. He also points out the anti aging effects of Japanese Gobo tea, or Burdock root tea. Currently, Yoshihide works to spread the practice of preventive medicine by managing this website and participating in local volunteer activities.
